When we first started this method, we learned babies usually grow out of being wrapped by 6 months. Well, we flew by 6 months and Harper still loved being wrapped. 7 months came up and she still liked it. We figured she would let us know when she was done.
Sure enough, at 7.5 months, she called it quits on the wrap.
It was any normal Sunday afternoon, John was working and I was home with her. I wrapped her up and she seemed agitated so I decided I would give it a try laying her down unwrapped. To my surprise, she rolled right over on her tummy and didn't make a peep.
She hasn't been wrapped since.
Here is a memorial to our lovely wrapping memories :) And all the cute nicknames that came with it.
Burrito. Cocoon.
Mummy. Bullet
Caterpillar.
Tootsie Roll. Rocket
Rollie Pollie. Eggroll.
The wrap is the best advice we could give to new parents. It seriously changed our lives.
But we are happy she grew out of it. She was barely fitting in her blanky anymore. And I really didn't wanna wrap her as a junior higher.
