Dear Auntie Moo,

I had the best visit with you!  I'm so happy you got to come!

I loved it when you played with me.

You made me smile a lot!

And your tickles are the best!

Thanks for feeding me my breakfast, lunch and dinner.

And for rocking me to sleep.

I like hearing all your exciting and interesting stories.

One of my favorite times was when you took me to the aquarium and showed me all the fishies.

But my favorite was when you and me hung out and laughed.

You are the best auntie and I love you so much!

Love, Harper

[great] grandparents

John's Granparents came to meet Harper.

It was an overwhelming and very exciting experience for them to meet their 1st granddaughter.

Harper warmed right up to them.

They have 5 grandsons so they were very happy we were having a girl. :) Change it up a bit, you know?

We asked them what it was like to have their daughter, grandson and great granddaughter all in the same room.

Amazing. Unbelievable. So blessed. Those were some of the words they used to describe it. But mostly it was indescribable. But it's an extension of them and their lives and that overflowed their hearts.

And since Harper looks exactly like this side of the family I think that can add to the depth of it. They physically see them in her.

Even though it was short trip, Harper bonded with them.

And they love her. Completely.
It's a very healing experience for me. Knowing her grandparents and great grandparents will love her and support her. I never knew mine.

The pride in their eyes was unmistakable.

The joy in their hearts was undeniable.

Genertation to generation.

Harper looks JUST like John.

John looks just like his mom.

His mom looks just like her mom.

You be the judge.
